Valerie Potter, LMT

was born and raised in the Ithaca area. I graduated from Ithaca High School in 2000 and spent almost 20 years in retail. After a major change in my personal life, I decided I wanted to do something that helped someone directly, instead of just a company’s bottom line. I enrolled in the Finger Lakes School of Massage and found my calling.  I was told from the beginning that I had intuitive hands. My love for deep tissue, connective tissue, and shiatsu work all came together to give me a new outlook on personal and professional lives. I enjoy all areas of massage and believes it is the new way to heal the body from the inside out. I am excited to be back in the unique Ithaca atmosphere after two years out of the area. I believe that sometimes you have to leave a place in order to appreciate all it has to offer. I embrace each session with a positive outlook that if you can heal the body you can heal your life.
